Kaygees Gymnastics Volunteer Committee of Management plays a vital role in ensuring the club operates smoothly, ethically, and in line with our mission to support community participation in gymnastics.

The Committee is made up of volunteers, typically parents, community members, and supporters of the club, who generously donate their time and expertise to oversee the governance and strategic direction of the organisation.

Key responsibilities of the Committee include:

• Ensuring the club complies with all legal, financial, and safety obligations

• Overseeing the club’s financial management and approving budgets

• Supporting the club's staff and coaches by setting long-term goals and policies

• Making major decisions regarding the club’s direction, partnerships, and development

• Ensuring transparency and accountability in how the club operates

 

While the day-to-day running of the club is managed by professional staff and coaches, the Committee provides the governance and oversight necessary for the club to remain sustainable and community-focused.

 

Being a not-for-profit club means all profits are reinvested into improving our programs, facilities, and opportunities for members. The Committee ensures that these funds are used responsibly and in the best interests of our gymnasts and families.
